Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) also know as Hollow Block, are used for a wide range of applications. Due to its strength and durability, CMU can be used to construct a load bearing or non load bearing wall. When the CMU is being constructed with in-filled cement it can achieve from a range of 1 to 4 hours fire rating depending on thickness of the CMU.
